There's a latch on the ZIF socket that holds the CPU in place, usually you twist the heatsink off of the CPU, then undo the latch and remove the CPU

@HePuaLionaLolo so going by the spec sheet the x16 slot is PCIe 3.0 and the x1 slot is 2.0. Generally graphics cards use x16 slots (they're much longer) and most general-purpose PCIe cards use x1 but will also fit in an x16 slot.

1. The M.2 slot may support PCIe SSDs, but they'd need to be M.2/NGFF. The best choice for SSDs is NVME which is what your board says it supports on the M.2 slot (lemme check to make sure I'm right).

So here, 2242/2260/2280 all refer to the physical demensions of the M.2 cards that it will fit. The M.2 slot itself doesn't care how long the card is but there may not be room for longer ones on some systems and you need to have the screw hole in place to screw it down.
"M key" refers to the specific type of M.2 slot you have which determines what will fit in it. I believe most M.2 SSDs will go in an M-key slot

the amount of read / write you have to put on these drives to get anywhere near the manufacturer's recommended usage is immense, on the scale of multiple terabytes.
